LINCOLN, Nebraska — A U.S. district judge has sentenced a 54-year-old Lincoln man to nearly six years in federal prison for receiving and distributing child pornography.

Charles LeRoy Walker has been sentenced to 70 months in prison. He must serve five years of supervised release once he completes his prison sentence. He also must register as a sex offender.

U.S. Attorney Deborah R. Gilg said investigators with the Lincoln Police Department became aware of a computer sharing child pornography files in February 2014 and tracked the IP address to Walker's home address.

Gilg says they found more than 20,000 files affiliated with sexual exploitation of children, along with several hundred videos, on a computer taken from Walker's home.
