ANDERSON, South Carolina — A man has pleaded guilty in the shooting death of a man in a parking lot in Anderson more than a year ago.

The Anderson Independent Mail reported (http://bit.ly/1D5g2ML ) that 20-year-old Christian Lopez pleaded guilty Thursday to voluntary manslaughter, attempted armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and conspiracy.

Twenty-four-year-old Chunsey Cunningham of Belton died Oct. 20, 2013, from a gunshot wound to the head in the parking lot of a skating rink.

Circuit Judge Cordell Maddox delayed sentencing until charges are resolved against three other suspects. Lopez faces up to 60 years in prison when he is sentenced.

Lopez must testify against the other suspects when their trial is held. Prosecutors said Lopez has cooperated with investigators.
