ABERDEEN, Mississippi — Authorities say 30-year-old Kevin Ross Smith of Caledonia faces formal charges that he tried to entice minor females to have sex with him.
The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports (http://bit.ly/1aB51kb ) Smith was indicted Oct. 31 on two federal counts.
If convicted, he faces a minimum of 10 years in prison on each count.
His indictment claims that in September he used the Internet and his cellphone to try to entice a 14-year-old and a 13-year-old to have sex with him.
It was unclear whether Smith has an attorney.
