LAS VEGAS — Authorities have identified a 22-year-old Las Vegas man shot dead during a weekend drive-by shooting on a street east of downtown.

Police say another man was wounded. He was taken to University Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg and is expected to recover. He hasn't been identified.

The Clark County coroner says Aaron Andrew Martinez died of a gunshot to the chest and was also shot in the back a little before 1 p.m. Sunday on Olive Street. That's near Charleston Boulevard and Eastern Avenue.

Police say no suspects have been identified and a motive for the shooting wasn't immediately known.

Police say the gunfire came from a small dark metallic blue SUV with a driver and a passenger inside.

The vehicle was gone when police arrived.
