CINCINNATI — Authorities say a 22-year old man says he was shot by someone in a car that pulled alongside his vehicle on Interstate 74 in Harrison Township, Hamilton County.

The victim told the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office that a silver four-door car pulled next to him east of the Dry Fork exit and that someone fired at least three shots, one of which struck him. The man drove off the highway and pulled into a gas station, where he asked the clerk to call for help. It happened around 6 p.m. Sunday.

The victim, who has not been identified, has been taken to a hospital. His condition wasn't immediately known.

An investigation is continuing.
