Dallas Ennema scores 18, Sam Rowley adds 20 and 15 boards; Albany (NY) beats Binghamton 62-46


VESTAL, New York — Sam Rowley had 20 points, a career-high tying 15 rebounds and four assists, and Dallas Ennema scored a career-high 18 to lead Albany (N.Y.) past Binghamton 62-46 on Tuesday night.

Rowley made 9 of 14 field goals and Ennema hit three 3-pointers for Albany (17-7, 12-0 America East), which has won 12 games in a row and 15 of its last 16.

Ennema hit back-to-back 3-pointers to spark a 16-0 run — he and Rowley scored eight apiece during that stretch — which gave the Great Danes a 26-10 lead with five minutes left in the first half.

A 16-5 spurt pulled Binghamton (4-23, 3-9) within seven with eight minutes remaining, but Albany responded with by scoring 13 of the next 15 to put the game out of reach.

Marlon Beck II and Willie Rodriguez scored 13 apiece for Binghamton, which shot just 31.8 percent overall and was outrebounded 44-19.
