Tupelo woman charged with endangering life of her small child, bond set at $10,000

TUPELO, Mississippi — A 20-year-old Tupelo woman has been charged with endangering the life of her small child.

Police detective Lt. Jerry Davis tells the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal (http://bit.ly/1Kv2cci) officers arrested Abigail N. Kimbrel on Thursday and charged her with felony abuse of a child under the age of 1.

The child has been placed in the custody of the Department of Human Services.

Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland set Kimbrel's bond at $10,000.

Authorities did not release details surrounding Kimbrel's arrest.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for Kimbrel.
