Notmyfirstime races to 1-length victory over Coolusive in allowance feature at Belmont Park

NEW YORK — Junior Alvarado guided Notmyfirstime to a one-length victory over Coolusive in the $68,400 allowance feature Friday at Belmont Park.

The 4-5 favorite trained by Steve Asmussen engaged in a prolonged duel with Shock'emagain until that rival fell in the stretch, sustaining a fatal breakdown. Jockey Luis Saez wasn't injured in the spill.

The time was 1:08.59 for six furlongs.

Notmyfirstime, a 4-year-old colt making his first start since July at Saratoga, extended his winning streak to four. He paid $3.80, $2.70 and $2.10.

Coolusive returned $2.80 and $2.20, and Irish Lion paid $2.80 to show.
