The Braves announced Monday that Vizcaino was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett and Kohn was reassigned to their minor league camp. The moves were made one day after the team released left-handed reliever James Russell, leaving up to three potential openings in the bullpen beginning the final week of spring training.

Kohn was demoted after giving up two runs in the ninth inning of a 4-2 loss to Pittsburgh. He was 1-1 with a 3.24 ERA in eight innings.

After being acquired from the Cubs for second baseman Tommy La Stella, Vizcaino sgave up nine hits and eight runs in eight innings.
