Minor earthquake felt in communities of Alaska's Prince William Sound

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Seismologists say a minor earthquake was felt in Alaska's Prince William Sound area.

The Alaska Earthquake Center says the 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck at 3:10 p.m. Sunday.

It was located 18 miles southwest of Valdez, where it was felt. The quake also was felt in Cordova, 45 miles southeast of the epicenter.

There are no immediate reports of damage.
