FARGO, North Dakota — Nonconference games at Illinois and Iowa State highlight the upcoming season schedule for the North Dakota State University men's basketball team.

Bison head coach David Richman says the team's schedule has "a little bit of everything," with games against teams in two of the nation's premier basketball conferences and also games against quality mid-major programs.

NDSU opens the season at defending Big West Conference regular season champion UC Davis on Nov.13. The Illinois game is Nov. 15 and the Iowa State game is Dec. 1.

The home opener at Scheels Arena is Nov. 18 against Valley City State.

NDSU last season made its third NCAA Tournament appearance in school history.
