St. Louis man wins $1 million Powerball game prize with quick pick ticket

ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis man is the latest Missouri Lottery-made millionaire.

The Missouri Lottery says 30-year-old Christopher Henson used a quick pick ticket to win a $1 million prize as part of the Powerball drawing on May 15. He matched all five white-ball numbers.

Henson said he didn't realize he had won until learning in the media that the winning ticket had been sold at Telegraph Liquors, where he bought his ticket.

He checked his numbers and learned he had won. Henson says he'll use the money to pay for his upcoming wedding, fund college accounts for his children and buy a new home.
