LISBON, Portugal — Lima scored twice to lead Benfica to a 2-0 win at fierce rival Porto on Sunday, the first victory for the Portuguese leaders at the Stadium of the Dragon since the 2005-06 season.

The Benfica striker opened with a goal in the 36th minute from a throw-in from Maxi Pereira, and doubled the lead in the 55th when he converted a rebound.

Porto surged forward late with Jackson Martinez heading the ball off the goal frame twice.

Benfica, the defending champions, opened a six-point gap over Porto with the victory.

It was Porto's first league loss of the season through 13 rounds.
