LSU, Louisiana-Monroe players receive La. Sports Writers Association player of the week honors

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana — The LSU Tigers and the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks had the players that performed the best on the field Saturday, earning Louisiana Sports Writers Association nods as this week's college football player of the week.

Brandon Harris, who came in to the game at quarterback in LSU's 63-7 win over New Mexico State, was named the Offensive Player of the Week while Michael Johnson on defense and Justin Manton for special teams earned honors in ULM's 22-20 win over Troy.
