Police seeking clues in the death of a southwest Florida woman

FORT MYERS, Florida — Investigators hope the public can help with information about the death of a woman whose body was dumped alongside Interstate 75 near Fort Myers.

The body of 43-year-old Penny Seevers was found by a state mowing crew on Aug. 5. The Naples Daily News (http://bit.ly/1xMpYVo ) reports her death has been ruled a homicide, but police have few other details.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at http://www.swflcrimestoppers.org .
