NJ woman killed after being struck by 2 separate taxis as she crossed Manhattan street


NEW YORK — The NYPD is investigating an accident in which a New Jersey woman was killed after being struck by two separate taxi cabs in Manhattan.

Police say the 22-year-old victim was pronounced dead at a hospital following the 8:14 p.m. accident on Thursday.

It occurred as the woman was crossing York Avenue at East 84th Street.

Police say a yellow taxi traveling south on York struck her. They say the woman was then hit a second time by another yellow cab.

The victim was identified as Kelly Gordon of Brielle, New Jersey
