30-year-old Columbia Falls man dies in ATV crash near Eureka after sideswiping another ATV

EUREKA, Montana — A 30-year-old Columbia Falls man has died in an ATV crash near Eureka.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the crash was reported at 2:50 a.m. Saturday.

The name of the victim was not immediately released.

The patrol says the victim sideswiped another ATV on a road before losing control and striking several trees.

KECI-TV in Missoula reports (http://bit.ly/1yI8JLz ) that officials say alcohol and speed were both factors in the crash.
