HEMPSTEAD, New York — Juan'ya Green scored 16 points to lead four players in double figures and Hofstra handled Delaware 71-58 on Monday.

Green was 6 of 15 from the floor and had four assists and two steals. Ameen Tanksley had 15 points and nine rebounds and Brian Bernardi had 13. Lithuanian freshman Rokas Gustys added career-highs in points (11) and rebounds (16), seven on the offensive glass.

Hofstra (11-4, 2-0 Colonial Athletic) trailed early, but a 15-0 run — including a pair of 3-pointers by Bernardi — put the Pride up by eight en route to a 27-22 lead at the half.

Bernardi's 3-pointer early in the second half put the lead to 11 at 37-26, and Delaware was never able to get it back below double digits the rest of the way.
