PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire — Police say a Maine man has been arrested in a bank robbery in the New Hampshire city of Portsmouth.

Authorities say 33-year-old Joshua Tom Caprarella of Ogunquit was taken into custody at the Piscataqua Savings Bank on Wednesday.

Police say they received a hold-up alarm from the bank and information that an unarmed man was demanding money.

Police say Caprarella remained in the bank until officers arrived.

It was not immediately known if he is being represented by a lawyer.
