Corn and soybean futures fall on the CBOT; beef prices rise

CHICAGO — Grains futures were mixed in early trading Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 4.50 cents to $6.31 a bushel; July corn fell 1.75 cent to $5.9925 a bushel; July oats were unchanged at $3.4175 a bushel; while July soybeans fell 6 cents to $14.70 a bushel.

Beef futures rise and pork futures fall on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 0.33 cent to $1.1260 a pound; May feeder cattle rose 0.40 cent to $1.49 a pound; while June lean hogs fell 0.57 cent to 87 cents a pound.
