LOS ANGELES — A hiker has died after plunging down a waterfall in the Angeles National Forest.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. Ismael Chavez said the man was pronounced dead at a hospital after the Monday afternoon plunge in the Chantry Flat recreation area north of Arcadia and Sierra Madre.
Chavez told the Pasadena Star-News (http://bit.ly/HTiA7B) he wasn't sure whether the man fell or jumped from the waterfall.
The man's name was not immediately released.
