DAYTON, Ohio — Wright State established a permanent double-digit lead early on and Grant Benzinger hit four consecutive 3-pointers in the final six minutes as the Raiders beat Green Bay 79-60 on Saturday night.

Biggie Minnis scored 13 points, Benzinger 12 and three others 10 apiece for Wright State (15-10, 9-3 Horizon), which remained tied in second place with Oakland, two games back of Valparaiso. The Raiders shot 52 percent.

Carrington Love scored 17 points to lead the Phoenix (14-10, 6-5), who shot 38 percent.

Green Bay scored nine straight points to trail 61-51 but Benzinger, who missed his first five shots, starting hitting from long range with his final trey leaving the Raiders up 20 with 3:26 to go.

The Phoenix came in leading the nation in steals — Jordan Fouse became the school's all-time leader Saturday with 238 — but they committed 18 turnovers that Wright State turned into 25 points.
