Police: Man expected to survive after being shot in Alexandria; no suspects or motive

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia — Alexandria police say a man is expected to survive after he was shot in the upper body.

Police say the man was shot late Saturday night in a residential community. He was taken to a hospital.

Police have not identified any suspects or established a motive, nor have they described what led to the shooting.
