PEORIA, Arizona — Authorities say a woman with an extensive criminal record has been fatally shot after she pulled a gun on Glendale police officers in Peoria.

Police say the shooting occurred about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday outside a convenience store near 67th and Peoria avenues.

They say 49-year-old Kaylene Stone, of Glendale, was taken to a hospital where she died.

Police say the Stone was wanted on felony warrants for dangerous drugs.
