Billings man dies, another injured in crash in Billings Heights

BILLINGS, Montana — A 22-year-old Billings man died when the pickup he was driving veered off the road in the Billings Heights, struck a light pole and crashed into an unoccupied car parked in a private lot.

Assistant Yellowstone County Coroner Cliff Mahoney says Tyler Salazar died in the crash that was reported at 12:45 a.m. Thursday.

Salazar's 22-year-old passenger was hospitalized.

The crash remains under investigation.
