Huntsville shooting leaves man dead, woman severely injured; police searching for car

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — Huntsville police are searching for a car seen leaving the scene after a shooting that left a man dead and a woman with severe injuries.

Police say the shooting happened after 3 a.m. Sunday, when a gunman shot the female victim in the abdomen and the male victim in the head. Few details about the victims were immediately available.

Officers tell WHNT-TV (http://bit.ly/1gdFtF4) that two males fled the scene in a grey or silver Dodge Charger with no tags.

Police are asking that anyone with information about the vehicle contact them.
