2 displaced by Phoenix apartment complex fire that draws large response

PHOENIX — A large three-story apartment complex in northwest Phoenix sustained significant damage from a Thursday night fire.

Capt. Ruben Saavedra says multiple crews were summoned after responders arriving at the scene found fire on the second and third floors plus the roof of the complex near 28th Avenue and Cactus Road.

Two people were displaced by the fire, but no injuries are reported.

Cause of the fire is under investigation.
