LISBON, Portugal — Benfica celebrated its Portuguese league title with a 4-1 home win over Maritimo on Saturday, while Belenenses clinched the last Europa League berth of the final day of the season.

Brazilians Lima and Jonas scored two goals each for the champions, who won their first back-to-back titles in 31 years and their 34th league crown.

Maritimo scored from an own goal by Jardel.

With all the other European berths and the relegation fight concluded before the league finale, Belenenses secured a sixth-place finish good for a spot in the Europa League with a 2-0 win at nine-man Gil Vicente.
