NEW YORK — Kauai Katie, sent off at odds of 1-20 after two dominant stakes wins at Gulfstream Park, captured the $71,250 Road Princess Stakes by 3¼ lengths on the closing day of the Aqueduct meet.

Kauai Katie led all the way Sunday against only three rivals. Javier Castellano was aboard for trainer Todd Pletcher in the race for 3-year-old fillies. The time was 1:23.32 for the seven furlongs on the fast track.

Kauai Katie paid $2.10 and $2.10 while Kelli Got Frosty returned $2.40. Secret Union was third, followed by Kimono. There was no show wagering.
