Salem man dies after getting struck by vehicle in Gloucester; no charges filed

GLOUCESTER, Massachusetts — Police continue to investigate a weekend accident in Gloucester that left a Salem man dead.

Police say 29-year-old Michael Linscott was struck by a vehicle on Saturday morning at a Gloucester housing complex. He was taken to Addison Gilbert Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Authorities say the driver is cooperating with police and no charges have been filed. The driver's name has not been made public.

Linscott's mother tells The Salem News (http://bit.ly/14IEG33 ) he lived with her in Salem as a personal care assistant and also worked as a roofer.
