COLUMBUS, Ohio — Police say they have arrested and charged a man in the death of a shooting victim found in a Columbus house five months ago.

Columbus police say they arrested 24-year-old Trevor Chaney of West Chester on Saturday and charged him with murder in the death of 61-year-old Rex A. Freeman. Freeman's body was found inside a house on Griggs Avenue on June 7. Police said at the time that they had no suspects or motive.

They did not say what led them to Chaney or if they now have a motive. They say they interviewed Chaney and then transported to the Franklin County Jail.

Police gave no additional details about the case Saturday.
