BOX ELDER, South Dakota — Two South Dakota law enforcement agencies are investigating a shooting on the southeast side of Box Elder.

Police say a 22-year-old man was shot at a home Saturday evening and taken to a local hospital. Authorities are calling the shooting accidental but further details, including the victim's name and his condition, haven't yet been released.

A press release says three other people who live in the home are being interviewed by law enforcement officials.

The Box Elder Police Department and the Pennington County Sheriff's Office plan to continue their investigation.
