RICHMOND, Virginia — A Prince George County woman faces up to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to bank fraud.

Shannon S. Hamilton also faces a $1 million fine and must pay more than $155,000 in restitution to SunTrust Bank. She's scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 1. in U.S. District Court in Richmond.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/15boADB ) reports that the 43-year-old Hamilton entered her plead Wednesday.

According to court records, Hamilton misappropriated customers' funds while working as the manager of a SunTrust branch in Colonial Heights from February 2008 to November 2011. She used the money for repayment of her own 401k loan and living expenses. She also repaid victims with money taken from other victims.
