LONG BEACH, Mississippi — Long Beach police say a 40-year-old man has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography.

Sgt. Donnie Dobbs tells The Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/1nQ18zZ ) Todd Michael Lyon was arrested Thursday following an investigation by the Mississippi Gulf Coast CyberCrime Task Force.

Dobbs says an examination revealed that Lyon had downloaded "numerous" images and videos of children engaging in sexually explicit activities.

Lyon was taken to the Harrison County jail pending a bond of $100,000 set by Justice Court Judge Louise Ladner.

It was unclear whether Lyon has an attorney.
