Man arrested on drug charges after traffic stop in New Castle, Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Delaware — New Castle County Police say they have arrested a man on drug charges after a traffic stop.

Officers stopped a car they say committed a traffic violation on Monday at Bacon Avenue and North DuPont Highway. Police say drug paraphernalia was in plain view in the vehicle.

Authorities say a search turned up 130 bags of heroin, plus crack cocaine and marijuana.

Thirty-seven-year-old Troy Waller of Newark was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and other offenses.
