CINCINNATI — Plans are getting set for the 14th annual Ohio River Paddlefest.

The festival that centers on a trip down the river to Cincinnati in canoes and kayaks has grown to include much more.

Besides 11-mile races and slower paddling trips from Coney Island east of Cincinnati to the city's downtown, the June 18-20 event has a variety of activities and festive events.

Thursday has the Kids Outdoor Adventure Expo, featuring dozens of interactive exhibits and displays. There are towboat tours on the river, bird shows and more.

Friday evening features the Ohio River Music and Outdoor Festival with live music from local bands.

Saturday's activities include the "Finish Line Festival" at Yeatman's Cove in Cincinnati.
