BENTON, Louisiana — Sheriff Steve Prator (PRAY-tor) says a 62-year-old man is being held in Nevada, awaiting extradition hearings in the 1988 murder of Claudell Staten in northwest Louisiana's Caddo Parish.

He says Henry Robinson was arrested last week in the Las Vegas area. Prator says U.S. marshals took Robinson into custody on a warrant accusing him as a principal to second-degree murder.

Robinson's brother Jake Robinson and cousin Will Rogers Robinson, called Roy, are being held on $1 million bond each after arrests last year.

Detective Terry Richardson says the cousin was Staten's brother-in-law.

Investigators say Staten was shot during a struggle in his moving car and was left on the ground after the car crashed.

Prator says Jake Robinson also is accused of killing Harold Bruce Cotton in 2004.
