4 people injured in 2 shootings that happened 15 minutes apart in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — St. Louis police are investigating after four people were shot in two shootings that occurred 15 minutes apart.

The shootings happened Wednesday night on the city's north side. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

Three people were shot about 7:30 p.m. near Sherman Park. A man was shot in the left arm. One woman was shot in the right hip and the other in the calf.

About 15 minutes later, another shooting happened three miles away, near Fairground Park. There was no immediate word on the condition of that victim.

The motives for the shootings were unclear, and police don't believe they are connected.
