ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico — Federal authorities say a man accused of robbing an Albuquerque bank dressed in a wig and carrying a Halloween candy bag may have struck again.

FBI spokesman Frank Fisher says it appears the same suspect robbed a bank Saturday morning, a day after hitting a bank in northwest Albuquerque.

Fisher says in both cases, the suspect was wearing a long, black wig.

Authorities say the suspect walked into New Mexico Bank & Trust around 9:30 a.m. and left with money in a black bag.

They say witnesses described a similar suspect, who had a small handgun, in a Bank of America robbery Friday afternoon.

In both cases, the suspect is described as 5-foot-10, Hispanic or Native American, 180 pounds and about 35 years old. He has a short, dark goatee.
