Police say Windsor Locks couple were shot in an apparent murder-suicide

WINDSOR LOCKS, Connecticut — Police say a couple found dead in a Windsor Locks home were shot in an apparent murder-suicide.

Police have identified them as 51-year-old Stuart and 44-year-old Brigitte Duncan.

Officers responded to the house on Webb Street on Monday afternoon after a relative found the bodies inside a bedroom.

Police said it appears Stuart Duncan used a handgun to shoot his wife to death and then committed suicide. The gun was recovered at the scene.

They say the couple's two children were not home when the shooting occurred. They have been placed with relatives.
