Clarksville man charged with criminal homicide in death of 31-year-old Cedar Hill man

CLARKSVILLE, Tennessee — An arrest has been made in the death of a 31-year-old Cedar Hill man whose body was found in Clarksville.

According to WKRN-TV (http://bit.ly/1BILuAA), police arrested 30-year-old Demetrius Cobbin of Clarksville on Saturday. He was charged with criminal homicide in the death of Donnie Kennedy.

Officials say Kennedy's body was discovered Friday morning with injuries consistent with an assault.

When authorities interviewed Cobbin, he reportedly admitted to being involved in an altercation with Kennedy on the morning that his body was discovered.

Cobbin is being held without bond in the Montgomery County Jail. Court records do not list an attorney for him.
