NEW YORK — Education continues to get a high priority in Mayor Bill de Blasio's proposed budget for fiscal 2016.

The proposal detailed Monday includes $340 million for full-day universal pre-K for all 4-year-olds.

Another $190 million would be used to expand after-school programs to over 100,000 middle school students.
