SPOKANE, Washington — Spokane police have released the names of three officers who were involved in the shooting of a homicide suspect last week.
The three officers are Jake Jensen, Danny Lesser and Adam Valdez.
21-year-old Justin Cairns died Thursday morning after being shot by police outside a home in the Nine Mile Falls community. Police say Cairns shot and killed 33-year-old Cyrus C. Jones earlier that morning.
According to court documents, officers believed Cairns was reaching for a firearm when he was shot at least once and killed.
