Wyoming inmate dies in prison after long illness


TORRINGTON, Wyoming — A Wyoming inmate has died at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution following a long illness.

Wesley Wilson died Sunday. A routine autopsy has been ordered. He was 61.

Wilson was sentenced in 1999 to a life sentence for aggravated assault and battery causing injury. He was also found guilty of being a habitual offender.
