LEXINGTON, South Carolina — Two men are charged with murder after a shooting last weekend outside a Lexington County nightclub.

Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said in a statement that 20-year-old Shantrez Robertson of Winnsboro was arrested Tuesday and 26-year-old Donavon Brannon of Batesburg was arrested Saturday.

Deputies say the two men got into an argument with 34-year-old William Gantt of Aiken early Saturday morning outside The Spot nightclub in Leesville. Investigators are still trying to figure out what the men were arguing about and why it ended in violence.

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher says Gantt bled to death after being shot in the lungs. Deputies say a second man was shot in the legs, but is expected to recover.

It wasn't known if the suspects had lawyers.
