NEW YORK — Loki's Vengeance won the Affirmed Success Stakes for New York breds Sunday at Belmont Park.

The 4-year-old trained by Mike Hushion and ridden by Angel Cruz rallied up the fence to beat Empire Dreams by 1 3/4 lengths.

"I had the best trip in the race and went through on the rail," Cruz said. "He did it all by himself."

The time was 1:09.80 for six furlongs on the fast track.

Loki's Vengeance paid $25.20, $11.80 and $7.30 for his fourth victory in 12 starts.

Empire Dreams returned $17.40 and $8.30, and John's Island paid $4.10.
