CONWAY, Arkansas — Eddie Camara kicked a 25-yard field goal in overtime to give Central Arkansas a 44-41 victory over Lamar on Saturday night.

Lamar had the ball first in overtime but Kade Harrington fumbled after a Blake Childress' hit. Childress recovered to stop the Cardinals.

Central Arkansas (6-5, 5-2 Southland Conference) led throughout the second half until Lamar's Caleb Berry passed to Jayce Nelson from the 5 to trail 41-39. Berry then hit Mark Roberts slanting across the middle for two to tie the score.

Berry passed for a school-record 554 yards and four touchdowns for Lamar (6-4, 3-3). Reggie Begelton pulled in 13 receptions for 193 yards. Berry was intercepted twice.

Ryan Howard, who replaced injured starter Taylor Reed for the third consecutive week, threw for 335 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Dezmin Lewis caught seven passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns.

Lamar finished with 674 total yards, while the Bears recorded 438.
