Lottery ticket sold in Brookings worth $5,000; jackpot for Saturday drawing sits at $105,000

BROOKINGS, S.D. — A ticket sold in Brookings is worth $5,000 in the latest Wild Card 2 drawing.

South Dakota lottery officials say the odds of winning the game's second prize are one in about 90,600. The winner has about six months to claim the money.

Wild Card 2 is played in the Dakotas, Idaho and Montana. The jackpot sits at $105,000 for the next drawing, on Saturday.
