Bradshaw's 22 leads Belmont past Lipscomb 87-62

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Craig Bradshaw scored 22 points and had eight assists to help Belmont beat Lipscomb 87-62 on Monday night.

Taylor Barnette made five 3-pointers and finished with 17 for Belmont (1-1). Nick Smith had 13, and Evan Bradds scored nine and had nine rebounds. The Bruins made 33 of 57 shots (57.9 percent), including 16 of 33 from behind the arc. Bradshaw and Smith each hit three treys.

Lipscomb (1-1) was led by Josh Williams with 15 points, 10 coming in the first half. Martin Smith added 12 and Brett Wishon 11. The Bisons made just 23 of 69 field goals (33.3 percent).

Belmont led 48-37 at halftime, led by Bradshaw and Barnette with 11 apiece. The Bruins made 9 of 19 3-pointers in the opening frame.
