Hartford police investigate overnight fatal shooting of 28-year-old man, found in parking lot

HARTFORD, Connecticut — Police in Hartford are investigating an overnight shooting that has left a 28-year-old man dead.

Officers responded to a report that a man was lying in the parking lot at 602 Mary Shepherd's Place just before 3 a.m. Saturday.

The man had a gunshot wound to the head.

It is the city's eighth homicide this year.
